I wouldn't stay at this hotel again if it was free. I've never been so disappointed. The staff was beyond rude, and the location was a nightmare.

The area is nice and quiet. The room is clean and also nice to have microwave and fridge inside the room. There is also supermarket nearby. The only disadvantage is that the transportation is not convenient - there is bus connecting between the hotel but only one every 30 minutes or even longer. You can also choose to walk to the metro station - it actually feels quite nice if the weather is good but it takes about 25 minutes to get to the nearest metro station (Court House).

If you have a car and all you want is a cheap motel in the D.C. area, you could stay here. However, we were disappointed. The motel was advertised as being within walking distance of the metro station. When we arrived the clerk informed us that "Walking distance is 2 miles." However, there was a bus stop within 2 minutes that took us to the metro. Unfortunately, the buses only run every 45 minutes or so in the evening. A trip to D.C. took about an hour to 90 minutes including waiting and travel time. Furthermore, the staff was unfriendly and we had to ask for basic necessities such as toilet paper. When I ased for a new coffee filter for the coffee machine, I had to prove that I was a guest ....?

Room stunk and bath smelled of urine. Orbitz lied to us. The hotel lied to us. Had to carry luggge up 2 flights of stairs. No elevator. No bellmen. Rooms full of men with electronic monitors on ankles......WATCH OUT....Mr and Mrs.Tanner
