Good deal and close to the lake. The facility has a bowling center. There are couple of good restaurants and pub/grill in walking distance. There is an indoor ice skating place in walking distance. Our room had a microwave and a refrigerator inside with plenty of space (not occupied by the insanely overpriced drinks that is sitting out there for ages). There was a balcony/deck in our room overlooking the lake. Great view and a good place to sit during summer. My only complaint is the noisy air/heat unit, which was not a problem in other units. It did not bother me much when I put it on low speed. Overall, yes I would recommend to a friend or for that matter to a complete stranger. Convenient with plenty of parking space.

We stayed a few days as a stop over before heading to Las Vegas in July. The suite was nice and big and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Didn't realize we would be on a busy street since this was our first time to Lake Tahoe. But the view of the lake and pool from our balcony was nice.

We chartered a fishing trip,had a really good time, they clean your fish and recommend a resturant that will cook it the way you want. Went to the Pope beach, the beach across from the hotel was under water because of all the snow they had this year. Went to Womack's for the very best spicey wings I have ever had!!!!

The view was great but the "hospitality" left something to be desired. I stayed in a suite that was quite run-down. The air didn't even work. When I told the front desk they told me, oh yea, it doesn't kick in if it's below 50 degrees. Well, it was hot during the day which made for a humid room at night, gross! They told me late check wouldn't be a problem, then when I called the morning of they changed it to 20 minutes instead of the 2 hours they had told me the night before. Overall, not so satisfied. I had a more pleasant experience staying at Hard 8 and other road side inns. I won't be going back here.
