Ideal location in downtown SF. Close to all forms of transportation, shopping and restauarants. Room was small and cozy!! Enjoyed breakfast bar each a.m. aling with wine and snacks each evening. Will stay there if we ever visit SF again.

This was a perfect location. The hotel is small but like a personal club. The staff was incredible from three different front desk hosts to every staff person we met in the hotel. The internet wireless connection was great. They had a wonderful continental breakfast every morning and wine and cheese every night. The only negative was no view and no air conditioner. However, the temperature in San Fran does not warrant AC and the room had an excellent overhead fan with variable speeds. There was a great big wide screen TV with cable and the queen bed and pillows were just right. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. We highly recommend this gem of a hotel. Oh, they have a parking garage around the corner that allows 24/7 in and out for one low price per day! Love it, love it, loveit!

Great location with extremely personable service that reminds us of Paris - the innkeeper was around for daily breakfast and evening snack and was sure fresh fruit out all day. The front desk had many helpful suggestions to help us get around. We would stay again - Be aware that the rooms are well appointed but small and not air conditioned!

Our experience at the Inn at Union Square was exceptional in every way. The staff were friendly and most efficient particularly [...] who hosted the early evening wine and cheese parties.We will certainly return.

Great location. Fantastic service. Staff very friendly and the breakfast was fantastic. Only drawback is the size of the rooms but apart from that excellent Hotel.
