We needed an hotel near the ferry terminal in Birkenhead. This hotel suited those requirements very well. The staff were friendly, knowledgable and professional. The room was clean and well appointed though a new matress on the bed is probably due (room 12) Nice diningroom for supper and breafast. Overall a good experience

Very impressive grounds nicely maintained, seems to be a conference venue and wedding venue first and hotel second but this does not detract from the pleasure of staying there.
