Getting There & Around
The Calicut International Airport services the city of Kozhikode and the surrounding area. This major airport receives flights from most of the Middle Eastern countries, as many locals work in the Persian Gulf. This city is also connected to most nearby cities in India through a developed rail system.
Buses of various lines are ubiquitous in Kozhikode, and potential riders can hail them from nearly anywhere. Public city buses are distinguished by their green colour, while the many private bus systems each have their own distinctive styles. However, the city has only three bus stands.
