Built in the 1890s, the unique triangular shape to the Imperial Reforma Hotel is a landmark on the Paseo de la Reforma. The French architecture promises the guest a special experience inside, with a spectacular circular staircase, chandeliers, and rich woodwork.

Location
Situated near Alameda Central, home of the Museum of Fine Arts, the Hotel Imperial Reforma is in the heart of Mexico City. Within 3 km, visit the world famous National Anthropologic Museum in the Bosque de Chapultepec, the Artisan's Market, or the Metropolitan Cathedral with its amazing architecture and religious artwork.

Rooms
Guests can choose a standard room or a junior or master suite. The standard room has two double beds, and the suites have king beds. All rooms have bath tubs, air conditioning, internet access, cable TV and mini bar. Suites have an additional sitting area and table.

Restaurant
The Cupula de Oro offers a breakfast and lunch buffet daily and the Restaurant & Bar Guild serves High Spanish Cuisine and is open from 1 pm every afternoon. Live music is featured in the evenings.

General
Plan your stay around the many architectural feasts, the abundance of museums and famous monuments around Mexico City. A museum dedicated to the art of Diego Rivera is near the Hotel Imperial Reforma and no trip to Mexico City would be complete without a day trip to the Teotihuacan Pyramids, about 50 km away.

This hotel is convenient to all locations in the financial district. I have stayed here every time I come to town.

best bargain best location. Great buffet. Free internet. In a very safe location. Compare and you will love the price.

It is a 50 peso ride most places I wanted to go. Walking distance to the ciudad and artisans market. You fel like you are in a grand old hotel that has not been kept up well.

Staff are courteous and accommodating, and the room was clean and comfortable. Heads-up: Verify that (key) strongbox (no charge) and (empty) refrigerator are both operative, if you require these. Pre-negotiate rates with hotel-based taxis. If you want a metered radio-taxi, you will have to call it yourself. In Mexico, it is unsafe to hail taxis on the street. You can easily walk to the historic center to take the Metro. Otherwise, "local" stops near the hotel are not very convenient or well-located.

one major shortcoming was tow days without internet service. their contract service has no two hour maximum response capability. A major liability for those who use the hotel room as an extension of our office. these days everyone is ready to apologize for the problems, but are not capable of providing solutions nor compensate for losses due to the lack of reliable service. the hotel must change to a service provider than can respond 24/7 and have either redundant service or able to restore within two hours of the call. We do not need apologies, we need reliable service
