Clean large rooms with balcony to catch the evening sun. Kitchen a bit basic but who wants to cook much on holiday? Sink, 2 electric hotplates and fridge, all in 1m space! Good places to eat nearby without the 15 min walk into the centre of Funchal. Was a bit noisy on one night, am!ome people aren't considerate of others and don't want to hear a guitar solo and vocals at 5.30am! Parking underneath hotel 10euro a week, a bit tight but useful if you don't want on road pay parking, but manageable. Would recommend the hotel and stay there again.

I was very pleased with the hotel. The desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool was terrific!! Very relaxing with a great view of the ocean. The rooms were clean and comfortable and even the view from the room on the back side was nice. If I return to Madeira, I will most likely book at this same hotel.
