Good value hotel. Rooms were comfortable and well serviced. Shower could be bigger. Good breakfast available at the hotel. Location was great. Close to train stations and monorail and also able to walk to a lot of favourite tourist sites.

Small rooms, but clean and relatively modern. Perfect central location for business or pleasure: We did both. Recommend eating breakfast outside; there are lots of good cheap choices on the street. Discounted public car parking available if you need it at $40/day. Sounds pricey until you see the alternative!

Stayed overnight for City To Surf fun run. Was able to check in at 11.30am & they extended checkout to midday on Sunday. Clean room & quiet. Excellent customer service. 400m walk to Museum station for return trip to airport. Numerous hotels to dine at nearby. Happy to stay here again.

the location is amazing, walking distance to the best places in town. Accommodation is really basic, a bit below Ibis standards...The hotel needs a lifting done and some TLC.... Good for a budget weekend or short business trip with work in the CBD

if you are after a bed, a shower and a clean, central place to stay, THIS is your hotel! it has really nothing else to it... As a couple, we loved it but for family it would be a nightmare. suggestion: sleep, up, shower anf and go out! :-)

right next to the office and a great price thanks to Rates to Go. Fantastic buffet breakfast, but a little pricey at $20. c2000 bathroom starting to tire and the fight for hot water in the morning was a surprise. no digitial tv channels. the dinky ironing board made it a challenge. but it was a comfy bed and quiet for the middle of Sydney and surrounded by so much dining and shopping options.

nice central hotel, walking distance to heaps. room not cleaned until after 4pm each day when we'd been out & about since 9 and were back ready to relax in unmade room. no double glazing so lots of LOUD street noise. good enough for a few nights.

Exactly what is claims to be - Budget business accom. Clean and tidy but small rooms - would not want to stay more than a night or two max. central location. Have stayed here several times but this time my room faced a pub which had live (loud) music until 3 am. Not a great nights sleep.

We arrived at 11pm as organised. Turns out the Queen room on a non smoking floor that we booked and paid for a month earlier was 'not available'. As it was late and my husband and i had nowhere else to go we agreed to stay in two single beds on a non smoking floor. I asked for our money back on that night - they offered us free breakfast - not a fair trade. My 6ft 6 husband slept in a 5ft something bed in the worst room they had - no kidding - that's all they had leftover to give us. Filthy floors, grubby doors, paper thin walls, and mouldy shower base. The only clean thing in that room was the sheets. The next morning before leaving we confirmed with the reception that the room we paid for was going to be ready for us when we got back. She insisted it would be and that we should leave our luggage so they can place it in our new room, ready for our return. However we decided to lug or bags around the city until our return that night - and I'm glad we did. 10pm we returned to our hotel and, just as suspected, we were in fact STILL NOT BOOKED into a room (reminding you again that it was a month ago that we booked and paid for the room!). Luckily there was a room spare - queen on a nonsmoking floor complete with mouldy shower base and feisty tiles (we wore our thongs in the shower to avoid contracting anything). Obviously I wouldn't say much for that room either. They gave us no towels, took our soap, and were filthy. The next morning while leaving our room and saw a condom wrapper in the hall. The day after that it was still there. Shows how thorough the cleaners are. I could go on and on about our stay at the Ibis Pitt St Sydney but I think this should be enough to prove my disappointment in this hotel. I would never stay here again and Cotel Hlub have lost all credibility for booking me into this hotel.

Hotel Ibis is ideally situated for easy access to darling harbour, shops, Hyde park. The discount parking of $35 per day is a must if you are driving as it's double the rate in similar locations. The car park entrance is underground opposite the hotel in Pitt street. Our breakfasts were great value for money and the staff really friendly and helpfu. Will stay again.
