Ibis Budget Auckland Airport
4 out of 5

It is very convenient. Free shuttle bus every 15 mins from the airport and it is next to the super market, cafe etc. It was a small room but 4 (2 adults & 2 kids) of us had a good time. It is good place for staying near the airport & catch a next flight.

We were delighted with the free airport shuttle for a budget hotel. Bed was comfortable which we badly needed with arrival after midnight before catching the next flight.

Great location for stopovers prior/after landing, right next to airport, free shuttle to & from. Clean rooms with towels & TV. Very compact & basic but that's what you expect for the low price, would def recommend for a brief 1 night stay

Perfect place to stay to get early flight from airport. We walked from the Ibis to International terminal in 15 minutes - easy, flat walk with footpath the whole way. Place is new and clean, makes good use of space. Only downside was having to pay $10/hour for early check-in or pay for lockers that wouldn't have fit even one suitcase. Staff were not very nice and gave us false information. The free shuttle leaves every half an hour BUT doesn't stop at the Ibis unless called.

Rather than paying 3 times for a five star hotel in the airport, if you don't mind a small room to sleep. I rather use my money to hire a car, and so I was able to drive around. The room is very clean and overall building still very new.

This hotel gives you better experience than what you pay for. It certainly exceeded our expectations from a budget hotel.

I did enjoy staying this hotel 2 nights ,which was very useful to go everywhere using frequent shuttle buses from nearby the Auckland airport.

Close to airport - free bus to and from airport. Feels brand new - very clean and presentable. Cheap price - a good deal. Small room - I don't mind, I only stayed for 6 hours.

This hotel is in a great location, not even 5 mins from the airport. They supply a free shuttle bus to and from the airport. Yes it's is small but fantastic for connecting flights or even just an overnight stay. Lots of facilities close by which are 24 hrs and car rental facilities just a short walk away which are also value for money. Highly recommend for a budget stop over, one nighter hotel!

This is a budget hotel a stones throw from the airport terminals. Great for people from the provinces who have to overnight before catching international flights.Clean, comfortable, quiet and convenient. Across the road from a supermarket, a warehouse store and a short stroll to a fast food place.

Ok hotel, small rooms. Mainly just a stop over for sleep. More for the backpacker type or last sleep before flying out. Nothing stands out as great or poor. May look elsewhere next time I pass through.

the location of hotel is suitable only for travellers who needs a day/night for transit to other airports as it is very far from city and if you have more than 3 days/nite to spend with than it requires you to use a public transport or rent a car which is not cheap either. A return skybus to the city cost you $NZ26.00 perpax which is quite expensive if you have big families. It is better to find a hotel in the city which cost you around $NZ130 per nite e.g. at skycity hotel which is in walking distance, convenient and cost saving and near to tourist attractions, restaurants and shopping mall as compared to this hotel which cost/ rate is around $NZ79 per nite.

Room was clean and modern, but very small. Just a double bed, very small desk and chair, and TV. Nowhere to sit comfortably and read or watch TV, and no hotel lounge. Well situated with regular free shuttle to airport but far enough to avoid jets thundering overhead. Fine for one night between flights.

Don't bring the cat as you cannot swing it in these rooms but for value as a budget over-nighter during your travels this is hard to beat. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet which is good for sleeping , the number one priority.

We did not get the bedding configuration that we booked. The room was ridiculously small. There was no face cloth or hand towel. Just really disappointed.
