Ibis Birmingham City Centre Hotel

I don't normally write reviews but i felt i needed to for this Hotel. Every year us girlies meet up to do a bit of Xmas shopping and have a meal & night out. The Ibis was the perfect hotel to do this from - perfect location for the shops and we had a terrific night out within the Arcadian Centre just wish it was longer. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the staff were so so friendly and extremely helpful - will definitely be staying there again and recommend it to anyone. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Great location, close to all amenities and easily accessible from New Street station . Room small and basic but comforatable beds. Breakfast excellent value if you book and pay on arrival. Would definately revisit

Hotel was great, good chinatown location, next to the Bullring.breakfast is a must.rooms very warm and comfty beds, can be a bit noisy if facing the bamboo disco that finishes at 9am.so keep your window closed if facing.

As a whole staying at the Ibis Hotel was again a very good choice. We've been coming for the 4th year now. We come for the NEC Clothes Show so location is perfect as it's walking distance to the train station. We were very disappointed with room service. There is no such thing as it states in the room, when you order you have to go down to reception & bring up the food yourself. The food we ordered was very poor both, in tastes and in display not to mention that my pizza was supposed to have chicken & chilli sauce but all it had was just tomatoe sauce & cheece.

Great location in terms of choice for china town so we went for the ibis. Friendly and helpful staff and ok breakfast. Room was clean so to start it was a bargain. The only problem came when trying to sleep in our room. it overlooked the Arcadian centre and unbeknown to me not as i dont come from Birmingham its pubs and clubs. with a bass sound going till 2 in the morning this seriously impacted sleep. Make sure you ask for a room away from that side of the hotel. We went on a Thursday so must be worse on a Friday or Saturday.

This is the third time in as many years that we have stayed at this hotel and have always found it to be excellent on all counts. The rooms aren't huge but are very clean and the bedding is incredibly comfortable. The facilities are great and the staff always friendly, professional and efficient. We will be back next year and would highly recommend this hotel to anybody thinking of staying there. You can't get a better location either! Thanks for a great stay.

This hotel represents good value for money if you're just staying a short time and don't want to spend all day in your room! The room was small with a small toilet/shower area, but was spotlessly clean and quiet, except for the unfortunate fact that we were situated right next door to the service room, which meant that we could hear staff organizing their cleaning work pretty early in the morning. Other than that, no complaints whatsoever and we'd happily stay there again. The bed was large and extremely comfortable and the TV facilities extensive.

The room was facing a busy road but was surprisingly quiet inside! Great value for money and centrally situated to bars, clubs and restaurants.
