They gave us a free upgrade to a water front room just because it was our 5 year anniversary; very cool!!

Ibis bay has an old beach feel with updated rooms. Everything is simple and clean. Staff was down to earth... straight forward... happy to accomodate, friend to strangers, but not professionally hospitalable. Best surprise was the restuarant at the resort, did not have a bad meal, in fact breakfast was excellent and diner was real good. great value!

The first room we were booked into had a broken air conditioner. So after packing everything back up and being moved to a different room we discovered no phone in that room. When the maintenance an brought one we discovered that the phone jack did not work. The first night I awoke to a giant cockroach in the bathroom. The next day there was a rat by our door and when I showed to another maintenance man he proceeded to kick it. Than the next day I sat in some oil that was on the chair in the restaurant. over not the best stay ever.

We were on a budget and Ibis Bay fit in nicely. If you're looking for luxury, this is not the place. The staff were friendly and courteous, plus the resturant's food was very good. Transportation rentals, taxis, etc. were practically at your door which eased our minds about driving around Key West. Overall it was a good trip...thanks

The room was a little small but the staff was excellent. We enjoyed the quaintness, the pool area and the restaurant. Food was excellent. We became married on this trip and plan to return next year. Highly reccommend!
