this is an airport hotel - 2 minutes away. excellent for BA flights which arrive at midnight and leave at 8.30.m. We stayed on he way in and on the way out. Two different rooms, both extremely good bearing in mind he price and the buffet breakfast was excellent. We stayed in he Fairmont in Cairo for te holidy at 5 times the rate we paid here - no comparison but just to put in the sort of hotels we are used to staying at. Good value for a bed for the night and perfect access to aiport with free shuttle and apparently free shuttle to downtown Cairo but I can't cofirm this.

Free shuttle bus to the airport was great. The only down side was the fact that on 3 occasions in 2 days I had housekeeping kknock and enter before I could get to the door. Once at 9.00 pm a night - lone woman by herself - very scary! The only other problem is the feeling of being invisible when served by the male front desk staff, annoying when you wait 15 mins while 3 males who arrive later than you are served first, even when you complain.
