First let me say that I was in the "Old" part of the hotel for the hotel review. Pros: Most of staff was amazing...they went out of their way to make it an enjoyable experience. The animation team.....doesn't get any better. Hoot, Chef and the others were great. Will become your friends not just staff. Even invited us out with them after they were off work. Malek in the dining room was great. Always greeted us with a smile and had "our" table ready and answered any questions about anything we asked. Location was very good....less than 5 min walk from Medina and 15 min walk to marina. Cons: Room was in need of repair Mini bar fridge didn't work in either room (was told by front desk this is common complaint) No internet access in "old" part of hotel....had to go to lobby and pay 10 DT/hour. Safe rental is $20 deposit plus $3 day and is very small....11.6" laptop just fit. Drinks at the bar are expensive Food at buffet is average but doesn't vary much...(to be fair we didn't eat in most of other hotel restaurants, so can't comment on them) Overall, was average hotel, but the staff make up for it. If you can get a discount rate and all-inclusive it would be hard to beat. Thanks to all the staff, you all made it a very nice trip.

It's clean & nice hotel but services at reception is disappointed as 5 star hotel. I asked to book a table for a dinner show - 1001 nights show in Medina, they booked me at wrong restaurant which was not 1001 nights show, just some Arabian dancing only. I found out the restaurant (1001 nights show) is not open daily. I was unhappy for their services.
