Location
Situated in the Massa Lubrense Town, in the hills above Sorrento, this hotel is surrounded by a green oasis of lemon and chestnut trees. There is regular public transport from almost directly outside the hotel to the centre of Sorrento.

According to the webstie the hotel is located 1.7km from the centre of town. It is actually 10-15 minute drive and 48 euros by taxi. Upon arrival our room was not ready however our luggage was left sitting in reception area for an hour and when the room was ready we were left to drag our bags into a dodgy lift and through thin corridors and up and down stairs, the hotels porter services was absent at this time. The hotel is not suitable for those who do not have a hire car. Breakfast served by the hotel was also a dissappointment.

Firstly, the auxiliary staff, especially those in the dinning room were outstanding, couldn't do enough to help, but the front desk was the complete opposite!!! They were not interested in assisting in any way. If booking a sea view is a must, it just has to be seen to be believed. The bus does stop outside the hotel, it's just a shame that the hotel doesn't tell you the exact location as on arrival you can easily get of to early or to late. The shuttle bus service does three trips into Sorrento (20 min) and three back at set times and you have to book a day in advance (the day we used it there were 23 people in a 19 seat bus), it does not run on Sundays, and drops you in the centre of town not at the train station. This amazing location could be so much better with just a little work.

The hotel was a treat! The town of Santa Augata behind the hotes was a grand suprise. The pastry store and outside pizza restaurant are not to be missed! It's an older hotel and a little hard to find, but just call the front desk and they'll get you there! Well worth the trip if only for the fantastic view of Sorrento and the bay! Get a room with a sea view!!Easy to day trip to Pompii and drive on the Amalfi Coast. Bella!

Hotel in a magnificent setting in the hills above Sorrento with views over the Bay of Naples and of Vesuvius. Very friendly staff and very good service. Strongly recommended

This Hotel has one of the most spendid veaws on the cost and the hospitality and service is in top. We would suddenly thoose this hotel again and recommend it to our friends.
