Hydro Hotel Windermere Guest Reviews
I did enjoy my stay. Bathroom and views were excellent however there was a fusty smell on the stairs like wet carpet and in the bedroom one of the big covers which gets taken off at night was stained. Also, I do think that a hotel which charges £52 B&B would have duvets rather than brown blankets which I consider a bit grotty. Thank you.

As a family we stayed at this Hotel Aug 2008 and were worried as what to expect. We were greated by very pleasant staff, had a large lake view room, very clean and warm (If anything too warm, weather overcast but needed window open). Everything worked though didn't venture to pool. Outside annex needed code and didn't appear inviting, though not a great lover of pools anyway. Did see others using the facility. Water was piping hot and shower fine. Breakfast was lovely/ buffet style with many choices and hot.For older people the hotel is on an incline. Yes the hotel may be a bit faded, but we had a perfectly enjoyable stay.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Hydro Hotel. Room was really nice, albeit lacked light around the dressing table area. Hard to comment on the food as only had toast, but looked nice enough. Service was excellent with plenty of help whenever needed.
