Needs some renovating but good linen. Carpet very worn and dirty. Room small but for 3 days in London it was an adequate base.

The room we stayed in was on the ground level and therefore could hear the subway. The carpet had stains on it. The window was difficult to get to open. Would not stay at this hotel again. The buffet breakfast was the only highlight of stay.

Old boutique type hotel with small rooms and creaking floorboards. Overnight stay OK but not recommended for a lengthy stay in London.

Excellent reception staff, minor issue in bedroom of wash hand basin plug not fitting, but no doubt repairable. Good quality towels and bed linen.

The carpet in the bed room was very dirty and worn-out in places. Bathroom needs a complete refit. TV did not work properly.

Good, comforatable hotel with good lounge / bar area to work from if necessary. Very handy for Bayswater and Queensway underground stations. One of very few London hotels where you can get a smoking room. I will certainly use this hotel again.

The only good about this hotel is its location. As for the rest; Yes it has a bed, a bathroom, a telephone... Tiny room, no way three stars. Book if you don't care about the room you will stay

Good location but rooms very small. Rooms on ground floor - could hear/feel the train running underneath as near a underground station. Service good as staff replaced my room when I returned to the hotel when the room was soaked after a very rainy day. Upgraded me to a bigger room without any extra charge. Pricing average for the area - London is expensive after all.

Was abit apprehensive from the various reviews i read, but this place location was great! Near the tube and food. It was clean, and staying at higher floors were much better.
