Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa Guest Reviews
Our experience was wonderful at this hotel. It is a mall and hotel all in one. Staff was friendly and helpful. I appreciated the many entrances on all side of the hotel. No matter which way you were coming from, you could access the hotel. Restaurants in hotel were a little overpriced, so we chose to walk to nearby restaurants like Cheeseburger in Paradise for a cheap breakfast special. You are literally right across the street from Waikiki Beach which has a nice man-made cove for swimming. There is tons of shops and malls nearby as well. Plan on doing a lot of walking. The rooms are very spacious. Bathrooms need a bit of updating. But the rest of the room was renovated and modern.

great location and amenities. but swimming pool was little too small and some of our guests rooms were right next to the elevator. Be careful when you check-in. The room right next to the elevator. It sounded like you're inside the helicopter in the mid of night.

The hotel was great in every aspect, so glad I chose it for our trip. The location couldn't have been better, everything was within walkable distance, and it's right across from the beach. Nothing beats that-especially with an ocean view room! The staff was friendly. Just one problem, more than half of the staff was on strike while we were there, so it was noisy and inconvenient to get around the hotel entrance. During our stay, the room didn't get clean as often as expected either, the price should've been discounted for us. If we were traveling at a different time, I'm sure we wouldn't have much to complain about.

Great Hotel, just about all staff we met were very helpful and friendly. We stay in an Deluxe Ocean King room which had wonderful view of the diamond head and the beach. We were on the 25th floor. Breakfast is great and differently recommend, however can get quite busy between 8-9 am. Great spot, across the road from the beach and shops, dinning and anything else you could ever need just down stairs.

We had a mishap with the toilet and notified the desk immediately. The response time was fast, professional and effective. could not ask for anything better. The hotel itself is immaculately clean including the CARPETS. THE SERVICE OVERALL IS OUTSTANDING AT THIS HOTEL. Our daughter stayed at the Marriott - IHILANI RESORT and beautiful it was, however OVERALL OUR HOTEL (HYATT REGENCY) still stand out as first in my book. We do believe the parking fees are too expensive. It does seem like fees are so: TO DISCOURAGE USE OF RENTAL VEHICLES. The reality is that if our SON had not been in the area we would not have gotten to see the beauty the ISLAND has to offer.
