My room was great. Tastefully decorated and clean. Comfortable bed and well appointed. Many helpful staff were available to get me to my meeting rooms. The hotel has several comfortable bars and restaurants on site. It was a little higher in price than some nearby hotels, but it was very nice and it was worth it to me to have everything in one place. Recommended.

Our biggest issue was they took $50 off our credit card "in case" we used incidentals, which we did not. Still have not been refunded the $50. Also, ran out of tissues and the clock was preprogrammed to sound an alarm at 3:00 am. Other than that, the staff was great, but for the cost, you would think they would be more aware of the supplies in the room and returning the credits to the cards of those who spent the night.

Overall, it was expensive but nice. My main complaint is with the horrible valet management that parks cars all over the sidewalk with apparent disregard for its guests and for visitors and workers in the area. They are destroying a brand new sidewalk, not to mention any ability to pass if you have a disability. It is obvious that the valet staff has little regard for customer service or aesthetics. Also, the pool was closed, but looked like it could use an upgrade anyway.

First, the location is poor unless you need to be in the business district or really enjoy long walks,at night, through scary neighborhoods. It's just too far from anything but the Superdome or business district to be practical. Second, the structure itself is impressive, modern and equipped with some nice amenities. The mattresses are comfortable, the LCD screens huge for a hotel and the room electronics complete - but the rooms themselves are smallish and the bathrooms unventilated. Our room received one partial cleaning in three days - they either don't come at all or come by as you are dressing for dinner (I heard this comment voiced by other guests as well). The last item is that everything is either too expensive or costs extra when it shouldn't: $10 for a well drink is simply larcenous and, for the price of rooms here, internet should be included, not $10 or $13 per day. The hotel seems focused on trade group meetings and conventions. I would not stay here again unless I had business within the hotel itself.

Went down for the BCS Championship game and had a wonderful time staying at this hotel. If you are attending the Superdome, it doesn't get any better. I love all the renovations to the hotel, but the biggest negative is the size of the bathrooms in the rooms. Very small one sink bathroom! Otherwise we enjoyed our stay......

I would visit again! The upstairs bar and restaurant was a great place to entertain. Seems to be a great hotel for entertaining or business.

We were very pleased with our stay at the New Orleans Hyatt Regency. The staff were courteous and met our needs well. The location near the Superdome was perfect. The interior building architecture was both attractive and functional. The only issue was that of dealing with the volume of people that comes with a very large hotel. Overall, we enjoyed our time very much.

Hotel check-in/out was easy. All the staff, except the was concierge who ignored me while he was on the phone, were friendly. I did have to call the front desk once because they forgot to make our room. Besides that it was a great. Easy to get to the Superdome.

They spent millions upgrading this hotel, and it shows. Very modern, well equipped. Perfect place if you have game tickets for Superdome next door. Away from Bourbon Street crowds.

Staff and checkin/out process were exceptional. It took 6 six years to open after Katrina and well worth the wait. BEAUTIFUL hotel. The bars and food were very good.

This is an amazing property. Friendly staff and rooms were extremely comfortable. This is a perfect location for activities at the Superdome. It's a little bit of a walk if your activities are in the French Quarter or Riverside, but it is still very walkable. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at the Hyatt regency! The staff was very helpful and always greeted us with enthusiasm. I ordered room service on the last day of our stay and it was tasty and fast. The concierge was helpful and seemed genuinely interested in answering all of our questions. I would definitely stay here a again. We took a cab to and from bourbon street but it is walking distance if you're not drunk or walking in heels. The only downside we experienced was food selection late at night. This is partially our own fault for 1) being up at 4am and 2) not grabbing something on bourbon street. When we arrived back at the hotel room service was over for the night, the snack shop only had a bagel and few yogurts leftover, and there weren't any restaurants around that would deliver so we suffered in hunger for the rest of the evening. Overall we had a great time and would stay again without a doubt.

The Hyatt is very clean, very modern. The valet parking and checkin/out are run very efficiently for a large hotel. My only complaint...why no entrance or walkway to dome property? Before we stay again this needs to be fixed...as it is now, you must walk around to enter the Superdome which partially defeats the purpose of staying there as opposed to somewhere closer to the quarter, otherwise beautiful hotel and convenient for Superdome.

I like the convenience of the hotel, however I found the room to be a little small for the price! I also would expect a complimentary coffee machine in the room.

The hotel was clean and nice. All service people were very helpful. Beds were very comfortable. We had a problem with our A/C and the problem was corrected promptly. We were disappointed with the location of our room, they put us in the North Wing which is away from everything. The ice machine was not working and they do not have soft drink machines in the vending areas. So anytime we wanted a drink it was a far walk to get one. It is a completely different atmosphere than the old Hyatt.
