Hyatt Regency La Jolla San Diego Guest Reviews
I liked the experience; I travel for business every other week and this was for leisure but I can say that the hotel was very good! no noise, friendly staff, good service. The only thing was the health room that we were mislead by the sportclub on the complex and didn't notice the one for the hotel... we didn't want to pay $28/day/person for sports at the club... breakfast was a little on the expensive side ($19/day/person) but very good quality and choices. Make sure you peak the package that includes internet ($15/day), breakfast and parking($25). The hotel is walking distance to a good size mall. The beach was within 10 min driving... the driving was the only downside because parking is quite crowded in la Jolla. But I'd go back to the same hotel; my husband is picky and he enjoyed the hotel.

Lovely large light room. We arrived very late for our first night (2.00 a.m.). The desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We requested a cup of tea and were given a set of full tea-making equipment, including milk, for our five day stay. Wonderful. Staff helpful with suggesting and organising tours and drivers. Everything excellent but hotel not as close to La Jolla village as we had expected - not a big deal though. Definitely would stay there again.

Average hotel, nothing extraordinary, internet fee, valet fee, parking fee, small rooms. Good gym.

We did not use the hotel facilities that much, but the rooms were quiet and impeccable, and a restaurant called Michael's has a great setting with outdoor lounging and fireplaces. The staff at the front desk could use a touch of more politeness as they provide service. I understand they were busy, but that is not an excuse for harshness.
