Hyatt Regency Hua Hin Resort
4.4 out of 5

Very clean and well serviced. Nicely laid out. Rooms are pretty quietand nicely equipped. Expect to "pay for the air you breathe" . Everything was extra: internet, breakfast, drinks by the pool, etc. They are priced according to European and North-American standards so it can add up. Frustrating when all you have to do is walk 5 minutes outside the complex and pay 5 times less for the same product. The beach is gorgeous but has the occasional gelly fish. I got stung by a small one and the nurse was very good at treating it (healed within 24hrs). Of course that was a charged service, but at Thai rates so no big deal :) Good activities, yoga, tai chi, thai boxing...

The Hyatt at Hua Hin is a great resort. The staff can not do enough for you to ensure your stay is pleasurable. The shuttle into town is great at 50 baht per person. There is daily activities eg yoga & Tai Chi. This is a big resort - however it has been designed so that it is very intimate. Great on beach security - great warm water on the beach. The pool was just amazing. Like swimming through a river. Food was world class. So enjoyed this 5 star resort. We would recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday

Hyatt Regency Hua Hin Resort

Hotel was lovely, children had a ball on the water slide (good for adults too!) The swimming pools are fantastic, very good children''s pool with small man made beach. Horse riding for all ages is available on the beach (not offered by the hotel). The beach is not white and sandy but perfect for playing on or walking (it is very long). Downside is the hotel is about 15 mins from town but easy to take hotel shuttle or taxi into town. The hotel shuttle is not free. The Standard room does not take another bed so if you have young children you would need adjoining rooms. Overall this was a lovely resort and we will definitely go back and recommend it to a friend!

Hyatt Regency Hua Hin Resort

The check-in process was a challenge, as the reservation was cancelled for an unexplained reason. However, I was placed in an executive suite and all upgraded services at no additional fees. The hotel is beautifully designed, the services were outstanding. The staff was very warm and friendly. I note that the hotel should offer a free shuttle instead of charging a small fee to go to downtown. In my opinion, this hotel is a five-star hotel, with five-star services for such a minimal rate. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will consider going back again next year for a longer stay.

The water slides and the pool was great. But the room were small instead the bathroom was huge which I thought was unbalanced. Also there were very few drawers where we can put clothes in which was very inconvenient. Because the room was small there was no space for extra bed and they made the sofa into a bed which means we didn''t have place to sit in the room other than bed. Normally beachside hotels have balconies where we can dry our wet swimming suits but our first floor room did not have outer space which was inconvenient. I thought the concept of the room was not very suitable for beach leisure. The breakfast was very good but if I make one suggestion, please add fresh vegetables for salads.

Nice Hotel, the swimming pool is great for the kids (and adults) if you are with child or children and want only one room, there are only rooms on the ground floor, which have no balcony but that extra space, so a sofa bed and tables can be used. Sea view is of course on ground floor level. No sea view, even on the third (highest) floor but I doubt there is any sea view due to the palms and trees. Beach is alright but not the spectacular white smooth sand. Service from the hotel staff is perfect, very very nice staff. Will come back to this place and hotel.

I had a fabulous time at the Hua Hin Hyatt!! I would definitely recommend it to others. I even got the chance to see the Princess of Thailand! She was having lunch at one of the restaurants at the Hyatt. That was a nice surprise.

The hotel seemed a bit dated and run down for a Hyatt Regency. Some areas could use a new coat of paint. The rooms were clean, but sparsely decorated. Somewhat shocking, the hotel doesn''t provide a free shuttle into Hua Hin. You are forced to use an Avis Bus service which is extremely expensive given the short 10 minute ride. This service is something one would expect a Hyatt Hotel to provide at no charge. If you are willing to spend the money for the Hyatt, consider staying at another hotel.

No complaints. We enjoyed our time at the hotel. All the staff were extremely attentive, although not all the kids activities were available due to it being out of season. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel.
