Great location, large and clean rooms. Very good staff. Recommend.

Stayed here because of the location and the fact there was a sale. I would recommend this hotel only on the assumption that it is NOT for a romantic getaway and that the price of the room is the cheapest to be found in the area (excluding the Congress Plaza Hotel). I would describe this as a very good 3-star hotel, but a somewhat poor 4-star hotel. It is very large, giving it all the charm of an airport, as others have noted. Reception is poorly signed, making it difficult to find. The hotel might benefit from operating the two towers as completely separate hotels. The staff do their best to accommodate requests from so many guests, and they were helpful and friendly. Housekeeping always put the shower curtain on the outside of the bathtub, and one morning I was too sleepy to remember to shove it back inside. Because there is no drain on the floor of the bathroom, the entire bathroom was flooded by the time I was done. It took all of the towels to mop up the mess. The eastern tower of the hotel is across the street from the fire station, so anyone staying on the south or east side of this tower will hear sirens frequently. The rooms on this end of the tower would benefit from the sort of window configuration that many airport hotels have. Underground trains pass beneath the hotel, and every few minutes I could hear a whooshing sound that traveled all the way up the building's rebar to my room on the 19th floor. Not really much of a nuisance since it was fairly quiet, but the accompanying creaking noise was disconcerting from an engineering perspective.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Beds were awesome. Staff was always right there if you needed assistance. Let us check in early and check out late. Bar and restaurants are expensive in the hotel but there are walkways underground to cheaper eats. Would want to stay there again on next visit to Chicago.

Located in a perfect place close to bus stops, touristic buses and a block away from Michigan Ave. Housekeeping forgot to clean up one of our rooms the fourth day. We had to wait about 40 minutes till they arrive. The rooms are dark and do not have ceiling lights, only lamps (4). Rooms are confortables but rugs, desk, lamps and TV were dusty everyday.
