Hotel is in a great location. Can walk to everything. The only down point of the hotel is the showers. There is no pressure and hard to get hot.

Old Hotel. Noisy plumbing, so noisy that it disturbed our sleep. Being renovated at present. Expensive.

Great location, amenities and staff four our four day stay. Greeted by very friendly doorman, concierge excellent, dining room semi formal to casual, adequate menu. Just need to get used to the two stage lift to exit the hotel.

I stayed at Hyatt Regency to attend a conference. It was easy access to just about everywhere, either by walking distance, or by access to public transport. Everything was clean, tidy and professional. Staff at the reception, and in the the bar, was pleasant, service minded. I had a good stay. Thanks.

We arrived at 6pm (it was a 4pm check-in) - no room was available. The reception staff finally gave us an inferior room - well below our pre-paid room confirmation. The resident manager was called and he reallocated our room to our original arrangement. The reception staff were unorganised and somewhat unfriendly. On a positive note the hotel's location is in an excellent position within Boston.

I could have gotten better service at Motel 6. In my four day stay house keeping came twice and only cleaned the room once. I called and requested house keeping while I was out on the town, they called back to confirm they were on their way... hours later I returned and house keeping was JUST getting there making me sit in the hallway for 20 minutes. I also left my car in the Valet lot the entire trip, well come to find out Valet lost my car and made my wife walk around to help them find it. Mind you it was about 7degrees outside. Room service came twice also, the first time I ordered a small 15 dollar pizza which came burnt. I requested a new one get sent and it did, but this time not cooked completely. The second time I ordered room service I waited an hour for a salad and an ice cream. I finally called and they never put in my order. On top of this I got charge 10dollars for two waters out of the mini fridge in the room, but they locked the mini fridge the first night of our stay and never had the chance to get anything out of it. If you stay, get your own information about things to do as the staff was surprisingly uneducated about the area. I am generally not one to complain but this trip was for my honeymoon and I could have spent the same ridiculous amount of money for a nicer place to stay. Shame on me for not doing my research.

The only complaint I have is that this is our 3rd visit here...and the only time we had to open the doors ourselves. Other than that things were great!

Great view of the city from our hotel room. Hotel location was great for walking around the city. Also very close to public transportation if you'd rather.

For the money ($269 for 2 Queen Beds), the Hyatt was a good choice because of its location. It is close to Theater District and Chinatown, and close to the Boylston T station. Everyone was friendly and hospitable and helpful. We really enjoyed the jazz music in the lounge in the evening, and they didn't mind us just drinking water (I had my 19 year old with me.) Only drawbacks - everything is an extra cost - parking, $32, internet $9.95, Nintendo or movie, $6.95, and don't even touch the mini-bar! Overall though, that is likely the case anywhere you stay in this area, and for the price, the very best I think I could get. The bed was a dream to sleep on, and the location was perfect for our stay, a visit to Berklee School of Music in Back Bay.
