This property is located just minutes from Tampa International Airport and in the heart of the Westshore Business District. The hotel is two miles from Raymond James Stadium, six miles from downtown Tampa and eight miles from the Port of Tampa.

The food at the hotel was terrible. How do you mess up a peanut butter and jelly sandwich? The kitchen area was very dirty. Dirty dishes and food from the continental breakfast were still on the counters when we ordered dinner. The staff actually handed us our evening meal by reaching over the dirty dishes. The room was nice, but the food was awful!

This is a good stay place for most folks...handicapped are not accommodated unless in a wheelchair...need shower stools. This system used to acquire this review is not friendly nor impressive! WST

Have stayed at Hyatt Place before. Very well located to the airport and very nice staff.

Pictures on the Orbitz site were a bit misleading. This hotel has seen its years, so to speak. The lobby was decorated in the Hyatt style, but most of the seats in the lobby had large tears in them. Wouldn’t you fix or replace those chairs? There are no vending or ice machines on the room floors, you have to get that from the lobby, which probably has something to do with this hotel’s proximity to Raymond James Stadium. The room had a unique layout which was nice, with a living room / bedroom split, straddled by a 47in LCD Hi Def TV on a swivel. The bed was comfortable, but the bathroom was basic, if not Days Inn-ish. Split layout of room had an office area and wet bar with refrigerator. Couch was a sleeper sofa sectional, which was not mentioned in the description. They did offer continental breakfast, but it was limited…of course they did offer pay for meals from their kitchen which you don’t see too often from a hotel at this price point. Basically I paid $90 for a $60-70 room.

Average. Close to airport and many restaurant. Don't have shuttle for early morning flight.
