The Hotel was great. The room was clean and very spacious. The complimentary breakfast was great. I recommend staying here, the staff was very helpful. The hotel was near many restaurants so you have lots of options if you don't want to eat at the hotel. We will definitely use this hotel again.

This was a great hotel. Clean and Friendly. The staff was helpful, and kind. The space for breakfast is large, and I loved the Starbucks coffee! Would go back without any hesitation.

Booking this deal through Cheaptickets was really helpful. It gave me $30 welcome credit for the stay to order food/drinks in the hotel. Although I used it to buy drinks at the hotel, the staff credited it back to my credit card because it took them a few extra minutes for billing. Great value and awesome staff!

Overall a pleasant stay. Hyatt hotels are different from the rest; good quality rooms, clean. Very near from O'Hare. Not a whole lot to eat around, although there are two nice restaurants a few feet from the parking lot. The salads offered in their fresh bar are expensive and not fresh, so you'd be better off going out to eat.

make sure your non- smoking room is really just that. Also valildate you are not on the same floor as the junior state bowling team unless sleep not your primary reason for your stay. And yes they had plenty of other rooms available. You would think common sense would have prevailed. I have alway loved staying at Hyatt's but this staff needs a serious attitude adjustment

There had been water damage from someone hanging clothing on a sprinkler head. The room we had was not damaged. It was very large and very comfortable. We have travel all over the world and this hotel rates higher than many in Europe, Asia and South America. We would recommend it to our friends and will return the next time we are in the area.

Very nice breakfast, much more to the breakfast than expected. We encountered many smiling staff members throughout the hotel. The pool was big enough for our family of five.

Quiet hotel with a friendly staff. AC unit was loud and cycled off and on often.

I requested a king bed room and got a double bed room. [...]Glasses and cups did not have covers, and although they looked clean I perfer the plastic wraps. Other than that the room was clean and well decorated, the bed was comfortable, and the TV was large.I would stay there again.

Stayed at this hotel when visiting Chicago. I did not spend much time at the hotel being that I would drive to downtown Chicago and spend most of day there. Check-in was fast and staff was super friendly and helpful. Got there around 11pm and they still sell some hot meals. Even though their cafeteria is small is has 24hr service. Rooms were very good, new, and clean specially for the price I got [...].Even though I had to drive to downtown Chicago, the price more than made for the difference. Heck, I only spent $18 in gas to and from downtown in my 3 day stay. Cant beat that.

Itasca is a charming little town, but it was too far away from the city. I read in several reviews here that it was convenient to public transit. Not exactly. You need a ride to the train station, which the hotel happily provides BEFORE 10 p.m. Then it is a 40 minute (Metra) train ride into Chicago. The Metra is separate from the CTA (city busses and "L"), so you must buy separate tickets for each. For us, the Metra tickets cost about the equivalent of another night's stay in the hotel. We also had a serious problem with the after 10 clerk at the hotel. Two families were left stranded at the train station for well over a half an hour in chilly weather, when he failed to get us a taxi to meet us as he offered to do when called from the train. Otherwise, the Hyatt Place Itasca is a great little hotel. The breakfast is a way better than most complimentary ones. The staff during the day couldn't have been better. They were very helpful in every way.

I got this room for my sons 19th birthday as he was attending a concert with a friend, they would not let him check in as he was not 21. There was nothing on your site or their site that said this. We are not from the same state so how would we know. Not happy with either of you.
