Staying in a unique hotel with the atmosphere of the surroundings is what this hotel is all about. New Orleans charm with sites to see right from your balcony. Noisy, yes but what would you expect from New Orleans. No complimentary breakfast so plan a little extra cash but well worth the trip.

The hotel and the staff took very good care of me. They were always available and treated me with kindness and respect. Very friendly staff and knowledgeable and eager to make my stay a pleasant one.

Excellent location. Great staff, were very accommodating. Initially booked room on Bourbon but too loud. Manager (Maureen) moved us to interior room on probably their busiest weekend of the year. Room on Bourbon great for people watching if interested in staying up late. Rooms large, comfortable. Location can't be beat. Would definitely return.

I chose this hotel because we had a great experience here before. You can sit on your balcony and look out on the action without feeling like you're missing out if you get tired of walking around. it rained part of the day, so we watched the people below and took in the city while sipping wine from our balcony. comfortable, plush bed, great location, quintessential New Orleans, fair prices, valet parking.

Our experience was extremely rewarding due to the location and the excitement of New Orleans. Even though the hotel was being renovated, the staff was extremely cordial and helpful. We did experience some noise and problems with water being cut off during the renovation. When the renovation is completed, it will be a beautiful place to revisit. I would like to see the price of parking reduced from $30 per night, especially when renovation was going on.

First the staff is wonderful, very helpful and friendly. We stayed over the New Years weekend, our room was clean and quiet. Renovations are underway but are managed quite well. Bourbon Street is just around the corner from the front entry or you can go out the back entry, Redfish restaurant, right onto it. Getting to the trolly cars are very easy, just step out the side entry and walk across the street to the trolley, $3 a person gets you all the rides you can stand for all day. I recommend and will stay in this hotel again.

This was our first time in New Orleans and we were walking distance from EVERYTHING. If we didn't feel like walking we rode the trolley for 3.00 for the entire day or we were taken any where on a bike drawn carriage. The hotel was elegant and the bedroom and bathroom were huge! I would definately go there again.

All things considered my stay at this hotel was not good at all. I understand there was construction and renovation going on, but I wish that i would have been forewarned.

A hotel under construction should warn guests before they book! And the staff who answers the phone to give directions should be a little more patient with guests who have never been to the city before. They advertise a view of the French Quarter or the court yard, the court yard and pool, and gym was closed and the "view of the French Quarter" was looking across Iberville street at the parking garage. There was a nice letter from the manager in our room, but that didn't help us plan our trip before we got there. Never having been to New Orleans I had a wonderful time and will definitely return, but not to Chateau Bourbon!

The Hotel was under construction so we were unable to use all the facilities. Although the hotel let there customers know of the pending construction, Cheep Tickets did not inform us. And when I called Cheep tickets rep to discuss the issue she did not understand English enough to\understand what I was trying to tell her. So hotel and staff 4 stars Cheep tickets one.

The rooms are large, but be aware that this hotel is undergoing renovations. The location is great, and the staff are very nice.

I did find this hotel O.K. but it had many construction projects underway, so no amenities, pool/workout area/courtyard - ALL CLOSED. At 2:30 every morning either trash was being picked up outside or moving large canosters amking a horrible racket waking me up every day, even when I took a sleep aid. Housekeeping was the only plus there, went out a few hours and always came back to clean room.

This hotel is located in the french Quarter on Bourbon and Canal, Walking distance to all that the french Quarters has to offer. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean and spacious. The only problem was their was remodeling going on in the hotel that caused a minor inconveinience.

The hotel is in the process of being renovated which is fine but we weren’t informed. The noise from moving the building material dumpsters would start at 2:00 am or 4:00am. Therefore, we had no sleep for a week. I requested a room change and was informed that I would experience that level of noise throughout the hotel. This was the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel.

The hotel was nice it was in need of some revamping which is why there was construction going on on te same floor I was on which woke me up everyday early and made me very upset because I didn't get any sleep on my trip. It would have been nice if I was told that would be going on because I would have changed hotels. I never get to go on vacation and this was not what I imagined. Yes I know I was on new Orleans but I also wanted to have a somewhat relaxing trip and I definitely didn't get that. I had to take a couple more days off work to catch up on sleep. I will say though the staff was very sweet.
