I would say that the hotel has done a good job matching price point with the average nature of the hotel. All things considered, it was worth 75 dollars a night. However, I did a late check in so I had to self park. Not a problem, but the parking deck is very confusing. With a little more conversation from check in, I would not have had to leave my car twice to get instruction.

Hotel stated complementary breakfast in online description. Did not honor it because it was bookedonline. Also no mention of parking charge--it was $18/day. The garge was multi-use and could have just parked there and paid a whole day cost of $12. was not informed of that.

If you are used to attentive, friendly and welcoming staff, this is not the hotel. The friendliest person is the parking valet. Everything else is just a little below par. For the first 2 day, my room smelled of cigarettes. The walls are thin, therefore you can hear you neighbors. For what I needed during my stay, which wasn't much, it worked. Although, I would never stay there again.

This hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Midtown Atlanta at the corner of 10th and Juniper, near Piedmont Park and many attractions. It would have received a much higher rating except for two problems. The in-room wired internet connection did not work at all. After contacting the third-party internet provider, I was advised that the problem appeared to be a bad cable, and that he would have the hotel send up a new one. It never came. The other issue was that the room was uncomfortably warm, and remained so until well into the night, even with the AC on the highest setting. Other than that, it was a fine stay.

My major criteria were proximity to Georgia tech and comfortable sleeping quarters. Midtown was great on both dimensions. The staff was courteous, oom-cleaning excellent. The restaurant was average. Dinner menus featured intersting and unusual dishes, but the quality was OK but not great.

My wife and I have stayed here years ago and boy has it went down hill. I found not one but two hairs in the tub, one on the soap holder, the other on the ledge. Upon check-out I informed the two employees at the front desk and they just looked at me dumbfounded with no response. The wife and I went to the hotel bar for a drink before heading out for dinner. The bartender couldn't have crammed more ice in my crown and coke that had less than an ounce of crown. The wife's martini wasn't much different, these to poorly made drinks came to total of $19.43. Holy cow more than a fine restaurant. Then I overheard the bartender running her mouth after I didn't leave a descent tip. This place is a complete sh**hole ran by a bunch of low lives.

Very nice, clean hotel however I had to change rooms because my first room smelled very musty and bothered my allergies. When I went to the front desk and voiced my concerns, the lady was very sweet and changed my room without hesitation. The next room was fine and I had absolutely no problems with my allergies with the duration of my stay. The bed was also very comfortable. One down side of the hotel was the lingering smell in the elevators and the lobby from the restaurant in the hotel however this would not prevent me from staying there again...

Rude staff, unexpected fees, out dated, dirty room. Stay away! Cancelled second night within 10 minutes of checking in.

It was a weekend get away, and when I was trying to decide which hotel to stay at, I knew I wanted to stay here. It was a nice hotel but I was disappointed about the pool. Even though it was an indoor pool, it looked dirty and not too much fun to swim in. I should have also known that when staying downtown in a hotel, parking fees would apply. The prices for parking was ridiculous especially for self park. Other than that, the hotel was nice and within my budget compared to other hotel stays.

My stay at the Midtown Hotel was not enjoyable. I could not sleep do to people being loud and disruptive during late night into early morning. I was located on the 7th floor, and residents where carrying on as if no one else needed to rest. The staff was helpful, but seem to be a young unseasoned staff in regards to hotel management. Service was average, and prices were still to high for the outdated rooms and service. The security was good. However, parking is on the 9th floor, and you have to walk down to the 8th floor to ride the elevator, and then walk over to the hotel main lobby. Beware of additional fee's for parking your vehicle. Leaving the parking deck will also lead you onto one way streets. GPS will be good to have if you are not familiar with the downtown Atlanta area.

We stayed one night recently at Midtown. The hotel is located in a nice area. Our room was clean and comfortable. Self parking is somewhat confusing as you must park on the top level and try and find your way back to the lobby with no instruction/signage. I found myself in a different hotel altogether before realising it wasnt Midtown. Had to walk around the block to get back in the hotel. Use the valet for 5 bucks more!

The hotel is clean and well-kept but clearly past its prime compared to more modern hotels. However, this hotel has a good location being a block away from the Midtown MARTA station and a couple of blocks away from Georgia Tech. Rooms are basic but comfortable enough, and the price was decent for the location, especially when compared to other nearby options. Self-parking in a neighboring parking structure was apparently included in the room rate, or at least I haven't been charged for it yet, though I thought it was supposed to cost $15/night, which may change the economics of this hotel for value-conscious customers with cars. Finally, the non-free wired ATT Internet service in the rooms was broken for the duration of my stay. Thankfully the lobby at ATT Wifi and by registering for a Wyndham rewards account I was able to get free wifi while sitting on a bench in a lobby. All in all, this hotel did the job, especially with its location, but I wouldn't seek it out if I was doing anything but crashing in it.
