Getting There & Around
Győr is mainly served by Bratislava Airport, but also by the Vienna and Budapest Airports. All three airports are about two hours away. Győr is easily reachable by high-speed train from Budapest and can also be reached from Slovakia and Vienna. Drivers coming from Budapest use the M1 motorway.
Since most of the attractions are near the centre of the city, most people just get around by foot or bicycle once in Győr.
