Staff at reception were rude and unhelpful. Having travellied in China for over 8 years i know this is not what to expect from such a hotel.

I've stayed at the Hua Ting for more than 10 years attending various Conferences in Shanghai. Its convenientlly located mid way between Hongqiao, the domestic airport and Pudong, the International airport, so travel in and out is easy. Take the Maglev train from Pudong to Longyang station and its only 15 minutes by cab to the hotel. The staff are great, nothing is an inconvenience. The restaurants have great food and bar is a handy meeting place. The downside is the Hua Tingrooms need a major refurbishment to bring it's guest rooms up to international standards. Its certainly excellent value for money for a short stay.

this hotel is just opposite to shanghai stadium. near to market. hotel has very good english speaking & friendly staff. good dinning place.
