The hotel is a good base for visiting the Expo. There are restaurants and 24-hour shops nearby.

I stayed at this hotel several times without taking the hotel breakfast. This time I tried - very disappointing - poor quality and bad service at the restaurant - the staff were very loud and chating with each other in stead of serving customers.

The hotel is just a short walk from the Shanghai Stadium and associated metro station. Buses also stop on the main road adjacent to the property. Xujiahui shopping area may be reached via a ten minute walk, five minute bus journey or one stop on the metro. There are a number of eateries within walking distance and a large supermarket is located within the stadium complex.
