Howard Johnson Toronto Lakeshore Hotel Guest Reviews
This HoJo is in a bad part of town, I actually had a cab driver tell me not to go outside at night because of drugs and crime. Good to know. Also, rooms extremely small, like can't get your suitcase to the bed because there is a desk in the way small. Not very clean smelling, no bed bugs though. The light rail trains are going all night outside the window though, so very noisy. Overall, cheap place to stay, but you certainly get what you pay for.

Ripped fly screens and window onto the street meant that we could not get fresh air and air cond was noisy. While there was a free continental breakfast it is unacceptable to provide only polystyrene bowls and cups and plastic cutery. Staff at reception were lazy and only the cleaning maid responded helpfully to our requests. Despite all that we got a good price and hotel is close to street car into town.

Convenient location to where we wanted to go but no place to park when checking in and the room size was very small. Felt like we were staying in a walkin closet.
