Great location for the concert we were attending. We could walk to the location.

I booked this hotel because when I called them directly they said that they offered free shuttles from the airport and to the Carnival Cruise Line Embarkation Port. When it came time to go to the port they brought us to a different hotel and had a staff come out and tell us we owed them $10 a person to go to the port and they were sorry for the misinformation. At that point we are not at our hotel and have all of our luggage onboard. We paid and they then proceeded to the airport to drop off othe people and we were last to go to our cruise. This smacks of fraud. Also, the breakfast started at 6 or 7 am and were out of eegs in 30 minutes and nothing EVER replaced. I love Cheap Tickets but would never (even for the price, which ended up not being true) go back there.

I was traveling to Tampa for a business trip and due to the price and name "Howard Johnson" I thought it couldn't be bad and I was only staying one night. THIS HOTEL WAS HORRIBLE! Dirty, smelly!!! I didn't even want to stay but it was 1am when I arrived from the airport and I was exhausted. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel to ANYONE!

Good and cheap. Good and informative front desk service. Clean rooms, no noise, HBO, and ESPN. I recommend.

Nice and clean rooms. Probably a little bit above in price for what you get, but Hotels in Tampa are always more expensive than other tourist locations. Very short in parking space.
