Everything about this fleabag hotel screams "mass murderer" and "flophouse stinkhole". Ugh... I've stayed in crummy hotels before but this was another level of low. Dark halls. Smelly room. Chipped paint. Heater that was iffy. Filthy bathroom. Laughable location (behind a gas station and an adult store). I didn't want to take off any clothes - because I didn't want my skin to come into contact with ANYTHING in the place.

kind of secluded so wasnt easy for the cab to find; no microwave or fridge in the room; "gym" only consisted of 3 machines; overall, not bad for the price.. i would stay there again..

On the outside it looks horrible, but when you enter the room you'll quite surprised how good it looks, only to discover the air is very sub standard. On the hottest days in Chicago we had to change rooms because of the air, only to go into another room that was just as bad. please please get the air conditioner fixed and don't just put a band aid on it. And while you are at it please run some duct work for air in the hallway because its hot as hell in the hallway.

When I got there they wanted an extra $18.50 for security. [...]. When I asked to see the manager they let it go. It seemed like a scam they were running. sketchy.
