The rooms we had on our first stay here were very nice---comfortable--and and odorless. We were told these same rooms were occupied so we had to accept lessor rooms---these rooms were "minimal-- had a strong moldy/musty odor but ok otherwise. We will stay elsewhere in the future

I was in town on business, and I needed something that was clean and simple in a good location with a table & chair in addition to a bed. This place is a good value for taking care of the basic needs.

The room was clean and comfortable but I was not happy with cleanliness of the hotel. A stair was in need of repair and the flowers on the balcony was in need of watering. The place looked rundown. I've made other trips to Monterey paid less and got better rooms.
