Howard Johnson Express Inn South Lake Tahoe, CA Guest Reviews
The bed was very comfortable with soft fluffy pillows. The bathroom was small though, and the shower water was unsteady hot/cold and difficult to adjust. Overall, the unit was adequate and the staff was super. It was in a good location within 10min drive to all the main attractions.

a small family run hotel, clean rooms, working bathroom, good enough for a shower and good night sleep before hitting the slopes the next day. I have stayed at more than a dozen small hotels in s. lake tahoe and HoJo falls in line with the rest of them, nothing extraordinary stands out either good or bad.
