The staff were really nice, attentive and helpful. The 3rd floor room was spacious comfortable and well laid out. The nightly tasting of loacl wines was a great way to meet the other guests. The restaurant was excellent, though the staff will try to lead you astray with those delicious but evil deserts. Easy down hill walk to most places but needed the bus or taxi to get back up the steep hills

It's close to shops and stores. There are a lot of good restaurant nearby. And guests were invited to free wine tasting. The fireplace made us feel cosy.

While this hotel isn't a bad place, it misses the mark on little small things that add up to make the stay just so-so. If you can get a good price on it then this place is a good downtown tourist option. Pros: Location, location, location. Nice hotel bar. Cons: Very expensive valet parking. Walls and doors are thin, so it can get a bit noisy.

This is a good, solid hotel. The staff is all super friendly and the room I had (802) was enormous. I would gladly stay here again; this hotel is a great value. If I had any quibbles they were that the bathroom is tiny, and the fixtures in it are not as nice as the rest of the hotel. Also, the exercise room has just the bare minimum of stuff, but still enough to do some basic cardio if the weather outside is uncooperative.

This was an outstanding hotel with beautiful decor and a generous staff. The staff was extremely accommodating and approachable. The morning coffee and newspapers was a cozy touch. I would absolutely stay here again.

The hotel was very nice. The bed was extremely comfortable and the hotel was in a great location. The hotel restaurant had the best food. Also, there's a free wine reception every night in the lobby!

Great weekend getaway in Seattle. Hotel was in an excellent location and the room was really nice. Parking was convenient, hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and the complimentary afternoon tea was delicious! A pool and larger fitness area would have been ideal, but overall, it was a spectacular stay!

Wonderful hotel with excellent and friendly service. Room was clean and comfortable, although slightly small but typical for an older building. TV, DVD player, minibar in room. Concierge and all the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. There is an free evening wine hour which looked nice but we didn't take advantage of. Hotel is downtown within walking distance to Pike Place Market (~9-10 blocks/15 min) and several restaurants and shopping. We took the light rail from the airport to University station, only 3-4 blocks from the hotel.
