Great area if you don't want to stay in the cbd. Walking distance to train. Cafe served good breakfast. Clean, quiet room with great facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Could not fault anything.

Overall a very nice hotel to visit and would stay there again. The room was very large with a great balcony and view. Everything was clean and relatively new. Big screen TV and king bed, plus spa bath and separate shower. Staff on check-in were very friendly and helpful. I had a small issue where i booked on the shuttle and it left early. Not sure why they couldn't have called my room to find out where i was, or considering they had a taxi sitting there waiting for another booking in 20 minutes offered that. Hotel is within walking distance of St Leonards business district/train station. I would avoid the cafe as it's very over priced and only had a limited range of food. There is a range of food available from Subway/Mcdonalds through to cafe's at St Leonards itself. There is also a Coles Express so you can pick up some drinks/snacks. IE the bottle of water in-room which costs $6 is only $2.25 at Coles!

Stayed here several times. Check in was fairly normal. Any rooms on the highway are always noisy. Windows need soundproofing. Everything clean & tidy. Read the text any of the shampoo & soaps-amusing. Nice old-school look of the Tivoli clock radio.

This Hotel was very clean and fresh and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was with the traffic noise from the highway out the front.

Comfortable room, very comfortable bed, no toilet brush, water left on bedside table presumed complimentary, but charged. In general very comfortable, a little bit far from the city. Very clean. thank you

A comfortable upmarket boutique hotel. I was dubious about eating in the restaurant because of reviews I had read about it but decided to give it go for breakfast. I was nicely surprised as the food and service was excellent.

It's a modern hotel with quite good facilities, and the first time when i see the room i feel it's almost the same as what i saw from internet.it's quiet to sleep well, and the reception is helpful, especial for Will who gave us 2 room choices when we checked in and helped us to fix the TV issue quickly. In general i like this hotel, except the location is a bit far from the central sydney(need walk about 7 minutes from St. Leonards station).

Very nice place to stay, friendly staff, nice kitchen. The only problem that if your room facing Pacific Highway it is very noisy. May be just my room didnt have proper insulation not to sure.

Comfortable, clean rooms with modern appliances, including a bar fridge with a see-through door & funky retro clock radio. The soap packet provides amusing reading! Quick check-in by friendly staff - who always influence your first impression.

we stayed in a renovated modern room, well appointed. A pity that wi-fi internet as seems typical these days, is expensive.

Good value hotel except for $20 extra for parking. Large room bathrobes and decent plasma tv. Quiet with comfortable bed. Great shower. pleasant garden setting for cafe-decent breakfast. I will stay here again.

Very impressed with the cleanliness and furnishings. We had a very enjoyable stay at the Urban. Super bed. The breakfast was huge and we were not left wanting. Parking facilities were. excellent. Would have loved a cuppa in the middle of the night but there are no tea or coffee facilites in the room. That was a minor disappointment overall.

About 1km from St Leonard’s railway station Check-in: No problems Room: Standard hotel room, good size, very modern, queen bed, flat-screen TV, desk, sofa. Window directly overlooked Pacific Highway and the cemetery beyond. Check-out: Tried to charge again for accommodation which had been pre-paid. Very apologetic when the error was pointed out. The most basic test of a hotel is: “Do you get a good night’s rest?” The Urban fails this test on two levels: Noise from the highway was loud and incessant – after the second night we invested in ear plugs to try and keep the racket out. Second, the bed was way too hard. This was not a firm mattress – this was HARD! Consequently, we didn’t sleep well, and woke with sore hips and shoulders. The cafe (along with the whole hotel “experience”) was “funky", verging on the pretentious. Would we recommend this hotel to a friend? No – the Urban St Leonards fails the most basic test. We did not get a good night’s rest.
