We traveled to Rome, Florence, & Venice. Venice was our last city on our journey. This hotel was the best overall out of the 3 We stayed at. This hotel was definitely first class all the way. The location is wonderful, directly in front of a vaporetto stop. The service was consistently excellent, the best We had on our whole trip. I do recommend booking at least a Jr. Suite. We had one and You will get a beautifully appointed room, with a huge bathroom, and more importantly, a view of the lagoon. I believe that there are only less then a dozen rooms that overlook and have the view. Totally worth the extra money!

Fab location and what a view from our Jr suite balcony room. Decor of rooms fits perfectly with Venice. Staff and service good. Would definately go back.

Good location and nice room. Was given a free upgrade to a deluxe room that overlooked the water. Room had a very noticable slope towards the rear that took a while to get used to. Occasional king tides (where water comes into the lobby/restaurant) gives an off-putting odor during meal service. Would recommend to friends.

Good hotel in a good location. Rooms look a little bit small from the first sight, but they're good enough.

Fantastic view and room - we had a third floor delux junior suit facing lagoon. This hotel is right on the water's edge and next to St. Marks. The staff was wonderful. It was expensive, but worth every penny - I would definitely stay here again.

This is one of the most famous hotels in Venice, located next door to the even more famous Danielli, and within a couple of dozen steps of the waterbus stops, the Bridge of Sighs and St Mark's Square. Its location is its saving grace.

This hotel is in an exceptional position. The rooms are very stylish and quiet during the night. Breakfast was good with everything on offer you would expect in a four star hotel. Hotel staff were courteous. We had an excellent weekend in Venice and would recommend this hotel.

An excellent choice for Venice with possibly the best location available. Close to the action and next door to St Marks Square it is hard to pick a better position. Go for the lagoon view rooms. More expensive but well worth it. What a view when you open your curtains first thing in the morning. Enjoy....
