The staff was very friendly and the location is excellent, just next door to the tourism office. Lots of cafés, restaurants and a supermarket in short walking distance too.

Excellent location on the heart of Reykjavic, rather new hotel with nice rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast could be better but is good enough.

Location excellent and happy with price. However, the TV never worked, the hotel was saying there was problems with it, but I think they were just trying to save money on TV licences. Breakfast was very simple with only two hot breakfast options, otherwise cereal, juice, salad, meats, biscuits, fresh bread & toast and out-of-season fruit. We had a quiet room in the middle of the building. No room safe. Free internet access on one desktop computer near reception. The room smelt of cigarettes even though it was a non-smoking room. Bathroom was good and the room had a good radiator. Beds were a bit too soft and we had twin beds pushed together instead of a double. Reception desk seemed happy to help. Overall, would recommend it as a cheaper hotel in an expensive city.
