I arrived shortly before midnight when I landed at Rome Ciampino. The hotel is a short distance from the airport which was nice. I made the mistake of taking a taxi which cost 30 euros. I would definitely say calling the hotel to have the shuttle pick you up for 2,50 is a better choice. My stay was only for a night and I stayed in a double. The room was quite big although the bed was not the most comfortable. It was clean though. Breakfast in the morning was excellent and it included many pastries, fruit, eggs, coffee and other food. Wifi was 3 euros for one hour which I did not like, but the man at the front desk did give me one hour free first. Overall I have no real complaints except the Wifi. If you are flying in or out of ciampino then Palacavicchi Hotel is a great choice.

The hotel was good for an overnight stay. We were picked up at the airport by shuttle. In previous reviews I had read people had difficulty in returning to the airport, but this was not our experience we were told at reception that the shuttle runs from 5 am on request- we were taken immediately to Ciampino. The cost was 5e per person each way- a bit expensive for the distance but it is impossible to walk. However, it may be possible to get the free car-park shuttle just beside the hotel entrance. The hotel was fine and we had an enjoyable meal in the restaurant- good food and service at a very reasonable cost.

Handy if you a flying out but would not recommend if you were staying any more than two days.no shops around not even a deli thank goodness they had a shuttle bus which cost 2.50 euro per person.

Perfectly acceptable as an airport hotel - for one or two nights. ok breakfast. Family room (2+2) spacious with good shower. Hotel Bus to airport 10 Euros for 2 - children free.

Hotel is good, but location is terrible. Need to use bus and train to go to city center. Hard to find taxi at night and not many taxi driver know the hotel location.
