Hotel Opera Madrid
4.8 out of 5

The location was great with the subway station just a block away and the Palace and park very nearby for some beautiful sunset walks. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We booked a triple with 3 twin beds. Two of the beds are in good condition while the third one was in great condition. The bathroom was huge with 2 showers and 2 sinks. The bathroom floor was spotless. We would stay there again for our next visit.

Really great service from the desk staff on a number of different issues, and a great location. If they'd replace their hallway carpet and paint, they'd be first rate! Great room, great staff, and breakfast at a very reasonable price!

Would definitely use this hotel again should we return to Madrid. My party of six all agreed it was certainly very good value for money and very well situated for our short "weekend" break.

the location is great, just next to the metro stop Opera, which can bring you in 5 minutes everywhere in Madrid. It is also only a stroll away of the royal palace and walking distance to plaza mayor (10 minutes). The breakfast is ok, only the service from the reception in case of questions could be better.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful at the front desk and maid service. Rooms and bathrooms clean and neat. I would recommend this place and would stay again. Can't beat what you get for the money it cost! Ole to the Opera Hotel!

Small single rooms, but comfortable. Location is excellent. About 300 yards from the Royal Palace, and a couple of great little plazas. Good price. A cool little 'boutique' hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel was sumptuous with great variety- lots of fresh fruits, pastries, breads cured hams and cheeses, eggs and flan and much more! The Hotel Opera Staff was very helpful and conversant in English and Spanish. The Hotel is in a very good location in easy walking distance of the Plaza Mayor and the Plaza Del Sol, the Palacio Royal and many other special interest sites. Convenient also to the Metro and Taxi stand in front of the Opera House!

This is a wonderful little find! It is well located for all the major attractions and the rooms are nice to be in. large enough and comfortable. They have good enough sheets and large towels. I thought it was a good hotel and a good buy. I would stay there again.

Excellent location - in easy walking distance of the Plaza Mayor, the Gran Via, the shopping on Calle de Preciados and Puerto del Sol. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and airconditioned. There is room service and a minibar but I would have liked tea and coffee making facilities
