Hotel Novotel Colmar Guest Reviews
while initially the Novotel Colmar appears to be less than the usual standard of Novotels, we were pleasantly surprised by our experience. The hotel itself is more like an Australian motel and it is outside the city of Colmar in a more industrial area, right next to the airport. however the welcome was warm and the staff tried to accommodate our limited French, usually working out what we wanted. A big plus was the breakfast area being outside when we stayed there. It was unseasonably hot and being outside in the vicinity of the pool to have breakfast was very pleasant. The rooms are small and the air conditioning really struggled, but I suspect on a more normal summer day, it would be fine. I would recommend the novotel Colmar if you have a car and are prepared to lower your expectations a little.
