The staff at the above hotel were extremely pleasant and helpful and always had a smile on their face - very nice first thing in the morning! I did not enjoy the loudish, music played at breakfast each morning and also the same type of music in the bar in the evening. Our party felt the music was too loud at all times and and the choice of music leaves something to be desired. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay.

Great location and nice fairly new hotel. Interesting bathroom with open plan sink. Valet car parking $30 a night but very convenient right by Cathedral

Our stay was absoloutely fabulous is all ways. The staff were always friendly and went out of their way to assist us at all times. Along with several smaller earthquakes, there was a large 4.9 aftershock that cut all power and was very frightening. The staff were extremely professioal and caring and made sure our safety and comfort was paramount, even running up 30 flights of stairs to get peoples bags and suitcases to their rooms when all the lifts were out. The car parking charge was $30NZ a day, but well worth it for our hire car as there is virtually only 5 min parking out the front and around the city is 3 hour paid meter parking. We came and went alot and the $30NZ was well worth it for the conveinence, security. The included buffet breakfast was nice and a lovely relaxing atmosphere of their restaurant. Overall a great stay and we will deffinatelty be going back to stay there for our next visit to Christchurch.
