Hotel Novocastrian Newcastle Guest Reviews
Very old and basic but friendly and in a great spot

A museum piece - but big rooms and windows that open to the balcony views - and a lift out of Agatha Christie. A classic - and two minutes away from the art-deco Ocean Baths. Recommended for anyone with a sense of fun. I will come back here.

The Air Condintioner was on when I went to sleep & after a few hours, when I was in deep sleep, water started to drip down the Split Air Con. Since the Split Air Con is located right above the head of the bed, I had water running all over my face while I was in deep sleep. I have mentioned about this at Reception during check out.

Our overnight stay was too short to make a more qualified assessment of the hotel. However, the aircon was too noisy, and the TV reception was very poor.
