This trip is so unpleasant. It did not start well. First my flight was delayed for 5 hours, then someone has accidently taken my luggage at the Jakarta airport but luckily the airport staff managed to traced the passenger and he returned the luggage 1 hour later. Then at the hotel, my booking confirmation with YOU is not recognised!!!! I have made reservation at this hotel through YOU and YOU have sent me confirmation and have charged my credit card. But upon check in, the hotel staff told me that my booking has not been paid and I will have to sign acceptance of the hotel's rates (which is much higher) otherwise they will not give me a room. It was pass midnight when I arrive and I did not want to argue much with the hotel staff and signed the document. I contacted the hotel manager the next morning and still cannot get a clear answer about my booking status. I contacted YOUR Customer Service and they said they will clarify the matter with the hotel. Upon my check out, the hotel still cannot get a confirmed clarification that I have paid to YOU. After much argument with the manager and the Credit department Officer, they agreed to let me go and has asked for 4 days to resolve the payment issue. Should they unable to get paid by YOU, they will have to charge my credit card. This is so unpleasant. I have paid in full and I have to argue to get a room and argue to be allowed to checkout. YOU need to resolve this matter asap. I am constantly checking my bank transactions to see if the Hotel will charge me again for the stay. How unprofessional of YOU.

upon check in we asked for a non smoking room...the person who checked us in said we got upgraded but we once we went into the room it smelled of smoke and there were ashtrays in the room, which proves its a smoking room!! So we had to go down again and we went straight to the same guy who checked us in yet he insisted it was a non smoking room til my friend pointed out there were ashtrays and he was dumbfounded and asked us to wait while he was serving another guest. My other complain is the wall is too thin! You can hear people talking (not shouting!) when they passed by your room, and you can also hear when people next door are using the bathroom. Location is perfect....just a walking distance to two of Jakarta's biggest malls and just a few minutes drive to Jakarta's business disctrict area.

This a very comfortable hotel, were good old fashioned sevice is paramount. I stayed on the Atrium floor which a=was excellent, nothing was too much trouble, highly recommend this hotel. How many people stay in hotels and do not use the restaurant?, forget that policy here the seafood is excellent.

Hotel Mulia Seanayan nowadays is one of the busiest hotels in Jakarta; the lobby buzzing at most times. The hotel staff seems to be extraordinary well-trained, friendly and helpful.
