I booked the hotel for its location and described Portuguese ambience. Both exceeded my expectations. Great service from reception and the dining rooms. The breakfast, mainly Japanese, was exceptional value. My three-night stay was too short.

A small hotel, portuguese style with in-built chapel. Clean and practical. Standard room has tea coffee making facilities, free internet cable, smallish Tv but functional. Though the location is not exactly central, Nagasaki is a small town and therefore easy to get around with the trams. No room service, not many restaurants around the area for supper so bring your own or head to the nearby convenience store where you can get snacks or amenities. Overall a pretty good stay.

A small map on information on hotel would be really useful. Instructions on how to reach hotel via tram were good - but once we reached the relevant tram stop we had no idea in which direction the hotel was. Once we found it though, nice location and good ambiance.
