In the centre of town, on the corner of Calle El Conde and Calle Hostos, you can walk or take an inexpensive taxi to most all of the city's attractions. The hotel is 30 km. away from The International Airport of Las Americas.

good location to shop and stay in the heart of Santo Domingo

This hotel is in the heart of the colonial district (next to El Conde, the primary walking street), and it is easy to walk to all of the historical sites. I stayed on a special discounted rate, so that made it a good value, too. The wi-fi worked great; able to surf the web from my room. Also, I was surprised by the wide selection of tv channels (many English-speaking ones in addition to the Spanish ones). The breakfast at the hotel restaurant was very good. Finally, it was surprisingly quiet given the tourist location. I would give it 4.5 stars; doesn't have the high-end amenities (swimming pool or gym). Overall, a good place to stay.

Hotel lies in good place in the midlle of old town. Staff was helpfull. Atmosfire is nice. But room we get was very small. With longer visit it is difficult find place for you and your luggages.

I stayed at this hotel for overnight transit. There seems to be quite a lot of sightseeing and shopping spots nearby though I myself did not go out after check-in. It will take about 1 hour from the airport to this hotel. Compared with other hotels, the accommodation fee of this hotel would be reasonable.
