Hotel Majestic San Francisco Guest Reviews
Between Castro and Fisherman's Wharf, a great location. Like a trip back in time... Antique furnishings, elegant decor, a true classic. We felt like early 1900s glamour!

The hotel is in a need of updating. Other then that the rooms are clean, service is friendly, and location although a little farther from the main attractions is not bad. It is much closer than it appears at first.

It was a nice, safe hotel. I think you pay more for the historical factor.

The hotel is a older hotel, so do not expect many modern amenities. The rooms are decorated in the period fashion, but do have nice TVs. The bathrooms are clean, but have almost no counter space and the sink and bath valves work funny. In my opinion more modern bathrooms do not distract from the ambiance of the place. The people were very nice and mostly helpful. Our TV did not work and there were lights that were out. We asked them to fix these things and they did fix the TV, but not the lights.
