Fabulous hotel! Very well located with easy access to banks, money changers, telephone companies, pharmacies, restaurants & a quick trip with a sky lift to railway station - only 1.10 sf!! Hotel staff were very courteous & the breakfast is definitely the best in Lugano! Rooms are slightly small but very comfortable & clean..Very highly recommended by a frequent traveller..

The hotel is at the base of the funicular railway, so that was brilliant. It is surrounded by shops and restaurants and there is also an open-air market place close by The hotel is nice and well done, but the room (I had a single) was tiny. The staff are friendly and the buffet breakfast excellent.

Would definitely stay here again. Great breakfast buffet, even including tiramisu and cooked to order pancakes! Lots of nice details, very friendly staff. Very convenient for those arriving by train. Great bar snacks (free with drinks) at cocktail time.

I was given a room on the third floor which looked straight into another apartment. It was dark and with no view. When I asked to change to a higher floor, I was given a room one floor higher with a much nicer outlook.

Excellent - great location, staff were all very freindly and lots of nice touches like complimentary coffee & pastries in lobby
