It was a very clean Hotel view was very beautiful. Very close to the Grotto in Lourdes only 5 minutes walk if you walk fast it will only take you 3 minutes. Lots of shops need lots of money to spend. Breakfast was very good. Reception was great help and they speak well english, if you have problems with french don't worry other shops next to the hotel have signs speak english, Italian, ect they where all great help. If i do go back to Lourdes I will use again the hotel.

We asked for rooms in the new part of the hotel as mentioned by another of your clients, it was excellent, except that it was immediately above the bar terrace. Since the ban on smoking, everyone who wanted to smoke went onto the terrace creating noise and rising cigarette smoke. I complained and eventually at 2 am someone removed the people from the terrace and locked the doors. The breakfast is not worth the 10 Euro price, you can get better value for money elsewhere.

This is the second time that we have stayed at La Solitude---It is in an ideal location---in the heart of the town and close to the Grotto--When staying previously, we had full board and whilst the food was excellent, we opted this time for room only. The numerous restaurants in Lourdes, provide the opportunity to eat out at reasonable prices. The decent sized doubleroom was cleaned each day and included a flat screen TV with a number of channels including BBC1.

Ideal, central location for our stay in Lourdes, rooms very spacious (3 single beds) and the view from the balcony was magnificient.
