Hotel Inn Manchester Guest Reviews (11)
Never written a review before but felt that this particular experience warranted a small rant. We were foolish to not take notice of other reviews about the hotel, but you live and learn! Neither my girlfriend or myself are fussy; we like camping and 'roughing it' with the best of them but seriously guys, it was gross! It wasn't the worn out, delapidated state of it that we couldn't handle (holes in the ceiling, cracks in the wall, rotted fire escape door, mouldy window that wouldn't shut) nor was it the narky man who answered the door like it was his private house that we had bombarded in the middle of the night (it was 4pm) it was the filth. We didn't like to take our shoes off as the carpets were so dirty. Everywhere thick with grease and dust, There was coffee and sugar but one cup, when i asked said narky man for a second cup, he acted like i'd demanded an internal organ moaning about the hardship of it all. Booked for 2 nights, booked us into another hotel for the 2nd night, didn't bother trying to get a refund, bit too scared by the narky man!

We were going to see a band in Manchester and decided to treat ourselves by staying over so as to avoid expensive taxis. This hotel seemed ideal, for the location the price seemed good. On arrival and after ten minutes knocking the door was opened and we were greeted by a gruff European man who promptly placed himself behind the counter and said "you stayin' here yeah?". He threw the key over the counter and left us to it. The room made no better an impression. The en-suite had a permanent earthy smell too it and almost of the carpet had one stain or another residing on it. Most of the electrical fittings, light switch, sockets etc, had only one screw holding them to the wall and the window wouldn't shut. Not ideal when this hotel is on a busy junction in Manchester city centre and it's raining. Considering we could have spent the night in a Travelodge or premier inn for about ten or fifteen pounds more we were very disappointed.

I have stayed in this hotel with my parents for 2 nights. The place was in a very bad condition. The carpet was stinking. The first there was a problem with the flush in the toilet. The shower cubicle was full of mould. Quite expensive, but not at all worth the money.

ARRRRRGGGGHHHHH! Not fit for pigs. Whatever you do, don't stay here. Under the railway arch would be better.

Dirty, filthy place. Nothing good to say at all about it.
